The blitzkrieg Putin planned has failed; today — March 9, 2022 — marks the 14th day of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Our military, our people, our nation are all standing up against Russian aggression, fighting for what is right. Fighting for our land, our children, our homes, and our freedom.
But the only way we can win is together.
As a citizen of the world, it’s your moral and human obligation to support Ukraine and help us stop Putin and help stop the war. Showing your stance on social media is one of the many ways you can do so.
VistaCreate — with a large percentage of Ukrainians on its team — has prepared a collection of free templates to spread awareness about the war in Ukraine on social media, show your stance, and urge your followers to help stop Putin.
It’s time to act! Your voice can help save the lives of millions!
How to talk about the war in Ukraine without sounding ignorant
Being the aggressor Russia is, it’s not only engaging in active — and absolutely illegal — military actions aimed at the destruction of Ukraine. It’s also using informational warfare to demoralize Ukrainians, separate them from the rest of the world, and conceal the truth about the war from Russian people.
When talking about the war in Ukraine, you need to make sure you’re using the right language that doesn’t support Russian propaganda, but helps combat it.
On top of that, we also urge you to share real photos of what’s happening in Ukraine to let people know the truth. Depositphotos has a large collection of free pictures that illustrate the life in Ukraine right now, as it is. Use them to edit our templates and help us spread the truth about this war!
Why use this template: It’s important to call things by their name. Russian propaganda actively filters the truth about Ukraine on social media and regular media. Up to this day, the Kremlin states that the invasion of Ukraine is only a ‘special military operation’ aimed at ‘saving Ukrainians from a nazist government’. Calling the war a “war” or an “invasion” can get Russians imprisoned for up to 15 years. This is partially why, according to recent polls, 58% of Russians support the invasion of Ukraine — they believe in the blatant lies their government tells them via state-owned media. It’s in your power to spread the truth and change this vile statistic.
Why use this template: Zaporizhzhia NPP is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe and the destruction of it could lead to a catastrophe four times worse than the infamous Chornobyl explosion in 1986. On 4 March 2022, the military forces of the Russian Federation committed shelling on the Zaporizhzhia NPP site.
Russian government officials state that the seizure of control of nuclear plants across Ukraine is to prevent destruction and minimize the threat of radiation. But should we really believe in a single word coming out of the Kremlin’s mouth?
Use this template to let your followers know what kind of threat the world — not just Ukraine or its closest neighbors — is facing. Putin needs to be stopped before Chornobyl 2.0 happens.
Why use this template: As we’ve all witnessed, the Russian government is far from being diplomatic and democratic. But you can still voice your opinion and issue an official open letter to Putin on behalf of yourself or your company.
Use this template to publish a post on social media where you’d outline your stance and — if possible — help Ukrainian citizens to win the war by imposing sanctions on Russia.
Why use this template: As a result of this horrible war, thousands of Ukrainian civilians are losing their lives, and hundreds of thousands are losing their homes. The debris depicted on this template was once someone’s home, everything they worked for throughout their entire life.
The Kremlin claims their military troops are only targeting military objects but, in reality, they’re destroying civilian districts and entire cities.
The world needs to know that Russia is a terrorist country and Putin is a terorrist himself.
Why use this template: As we’ve already mentioned, Russia is deploying brutal siege tactics in Ukraine. They’re trying to surround cities, cut them from the rest of the world to starve civilians into surrendering.
Due to bombings and shellings, many villages are now destroyed, and people who used to live there no longer have warm clothes to wear, savings to buy food, or medicine to cure illnesses they’ve acquired after spending days in cold bomb shelters.
Urge your followers to save these people and send humanitarian help to Ukraine with our free template. Make sure to include addresses and contact information of volunteers collecting it in your local area.
Why use this template: While brave Ukrainian soldiers are protecting our country on the frontline, equally brave volunteers are helping out civilians who are suffering from the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
They help deliver food and water to handicapped people, the elderly, and regular civilians struggling to make ends meet in the war hotspots. On March 8, a six-year-old girl died alone from dehydration in the ruins of her home in the besieged city of Mariupol.
Prompt your followers to join the volunteers of Ukraine and save lives, because not a single person should die from hunger and dehydration in 2022!
Why use this template: Because Putin is the new Hitler and the world must know it.
Why use this template: Right now, it’s the brink World War 3; Russia is fighting against the whole world, and Ukraine is defending it alone.
Support the safety of your children and help our army protect the world from Putin’s imperialistic ambitions. The least we can all do is make ourselves heard by reaching out to people we know and standing up for our values online.
Make sure you add a selection of links to trusted organizations that collect donations.
Why use this template: Let your followers know that even if they’re far away from Ukraine, the war is their business, too. Ukrainians are fighting for all of Europe; because Putin is not going to stop.
Make sure your audience understands how vital the victory of Ukraine is for Europe and the rest of the world.
Why use this template: Make your position clear to your audience. Let them know who you support and urge them to do the same. Together, we will win.
The VistaCreate team has put together a collection of over 300 templates on this topic which you can use with free access. Explore the full collection of templates and make sure to publish your stance online and print them if you’re attending rallies in your city.
Glory to Ukraine!
