New in VistaCreate: Publish to Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest
Social media marketing is huge these days. Every business — no matter how big or small — runs official pages on several platforms.
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter are all sources of leads and increased brand awareness.
However, to leverage the benefits of social media marketing, you need to develop a strong content plan and publish posts on a regular basis. Moreover, everything you post needs to be visually appealing and of good quality.
Unless you optimize your process and use the right software to streamline your social media content, it can quickly become an extremely tough task.
Luckily, VistaCreate understands the importance of minimizing the amount of tab switching and speeding up the publishing process. So, we decided to release a new Publish feature that makes publishing in a matter of seconds possible.
Who will benefit from the VistaCreate Publish feature?
In the past, you’d have to save all your newly created designs, go to Facebook or Instagram and publish them manually. VistaCreate’s new feature allows you to cut to the chase; it minimizes the time spent on making new publications on social media and helps to improve your productivity.
The Publish feature caters mainly to social media marketers, social media marketing agencies, and business owners who manage their business social media accounts. For the feature to work properly, you need to have a business Instagram account linked to your Facebook Business page — for publishing to Instagram, — or access to your Facebook community’s settings for publishing to Facebook.
This, however, shouldn’t stop you from using the functionality as an individual. Anyone who has a Facebook page or is the admin of a Facebook community can benefit from the new Publish feature.
How to publish to Facebook straight from VistaCreate
The new Publish feature allows you to publish your designs straight to Facebook for several different purposes. Let’s look at all the available options.
1. Publish to Pages
If you created your project using one of the VistaCreate’s Facebook post templates, the Publish to Facebook button will be available to you on the tool panel at the top of the artboard.
For all the other formats, you’ll need to click on the ‘Share’ button and choose “Pages & Groups”.
If you haven’t connected your Facebook account to VistaCreate, a message will appear on the screen and invite you to connect to Facebook.
Click on the button and you’ll be taken to the Facebook authorization page automatically. Allow VistaCreate to post content into groups on your behalf, create and manage content on your Page, read content posted on the Page, and show a list of the Pages you manage. Then, choose the pages and groups you’d like to post to from VistaCreate, and you’re all good to go.
In the next pop-up window, you can select the Facebook page you want to publish to, add text to your post, and select the page you want to publish from your project (in case your project consists of more than one page):
If you used paid content in your project, you’ll have to pay for it before publishing the design to Facebook. Then, hit the “Publish” button and enjoy the brand-new post on your Facebook page.
2. Publish to Groups
Facebook publishing isn’t limited to Facebook pages, only. You can share your designs to Facebook Groups, too.
To do that, you need to add the VistaCreate app in your Facebook Group settings. This is something only group administrators can do. So, if you lack permission to add VistaCreate to the list of Group apps, hit up the admin to do the job for you.
Go to Group settings, scroll down to Manage advanced settings, and click on the pencil icon next to the Apps section.
You’ll be prompted to Add apps to your group:
Use the search bar to find VistaCreate and add it to your group:
Now, you can select the group you want to publish your designs to from the list, add the text you want to go with your image, and hit the Publish button:
NB! You can only publish to one page or group at a time. If you want to share your projects to more than one community on Facebook, you’ll have to repeat the actions several times.
3. Export to Facebook ads manager
Finally, you also have an option of exporting finished projects to the Facebook Ads Manager to use them as creatives for your ads in the future. They’ll be stored in the gallery of images.
To do so, simply click on the share button and choose Export to Ads Manager. The first time you use this feature, you’ll be asked to connect your Facebook Ads Manager account to VistaCreate.
Then, you can choose an account to export the design from:
One-click Facebook publishing doesn’t work for personal profiles. If you want to post your brand-new design to your Facebook account, you’ll have to download the project and publish it manually.
Alternatively, you can always use the Facebook sharing functionality and share a link to your project. This can be done in a matter of seconds — just click on the “Facebook Sharing” button.
How to publish to Instagram straight from VistaCreate
The new Publish feature also allows VistaCreate users to post their designs on Instagram. However, this feature is only available to business accounts.
If you’re using a personal account, you’ll have to switch to a professional account. Then, you’d have to link your Facebook Business Page to Instagram and connect via Facebook. Doing so won’t have any impact on your user experience on Instagram.
Once that is done, you’ll be able to publish to Instagram directly from VistaCreate. All you need to do is either click on the Publish to Instagram button (if you’re using an Instagram post template), or click on the share button and choose “Instagram Business”.
In a pop-up window you’ll be prompted to choose the account you want to publish your design to, write a caption for your publication, and hit the ‘Publish’ button.
How to publish to Pinterest straight from VistaCreate
Finally, with the most recent addition to VistaCreate’s stack of features, you can also publish your designs straight to Pinterest. The feature allows you to publish your designs both to public and private Pinterest boards.
To leverage the benefits of the Publish to Pinterest feature, you need to connect your Pinterest account to VistaCreate first. You can do so by clicking on the Publish to Pinterest button and then the “Connect to Pinterest” button that will appear in the next screen.
In the newly opened Pinterest tab, you should approve access. A pop-up window will appear on the screen, prompting you to select the Board or Section that you want to publish to, add a title, description, link to a page, and select a page of your project for publishing.
The rule is that you can publish only to one page or group with one pass.
